Job Summary of Experience Manager

Ulta Beauty is responsible for leading a high - performing team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, retail sales, and salon services. This role oversees stylists, estheticians, guest coordinators, and sales teams to ensure operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and top - line growth in both retail and service offerings.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Experience Manager:

  • Drive store performance by meeting or exceeding goals for services, boutiques, retail sales, guest loyalty, and payroll management.
  • Support operational excellence through scheduling, expense control, and workload management.
  • Analyze store performance metrics and implement strategies to improve services, retail sales, and guest experience.
  • Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to enhance guest satisfaction and sales.
  • Attract, hire, and retain a diverse team while promoting a collaborative, inclusive, and engaged work environment.
  • Provide coaching, training, and professional development for associates and managers to drive performance and career growth.
  • Model teamwork and guest service excellence, supporting the leadership team and sharing best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards, including infection control and dress code.
  • Utilize company tools for scheduling, task management, inventory control, and operational improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with field and services leadership regarding business trends, events, merchandise needs, and competitive landscape.

Qualifications and Experience of Experience Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; cosmetology license and/or cosmetology management license where required by state law.
  • 2 - 3+ years of relevant retail management experience, with demonstrated success in services, retail sales, and guest experience.
  • Proven ability in financial management, payroll oversight, and operational excellence.
  • Advanced competency in cosmetology management, including knowledge of Board of Cosmetology regulations.
  • Leadership experience in attracting, developing, and motivating top talent, driving engagement and performance.
  • Proficient with Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office, and Apple devices.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organizational skills, and the ability to adapt under pressure.

Salary

The pay range for this position is $28.50 - $35.00 per hour, with the opportunity for additional compensation through the company's bonus plan.
