This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences in a salon setting while gaining hands on experience in haircare services under the mentorship of a senior stylist. The position is a temporary entry point designed to transition into a full stylist role. Responsibilities evolve over six months from assisting in services and retail support to performing professional hair treatments and styling independently. A strong passion for beauty, commitment to learning, and guest service excellence are key to success in this role.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Apprentice Stylist:

• Support stylists with shampooing, treatments, styling, and color applications to ensure customer satisfaction and meet sales objectives for the salon.
• - Carry out salon treatments independently once the training phase is complete, which includes cutting, coloring, conditioning, blow-drying, and styling.
• Offer individualized recommendations and showcases to boost sales and customer retention.
• Keep the salon area in a sanitized and well-maintained condition, meeting the required standards of the company and state board.
• Boost and endorse on-site gatherings and marketing campaigns designed to enrich the overall guest journey.
• Team up with colleagues, skincare experts, and retail associates to create a seamless experience for all customers in the store.
• Stick to safety, hygiene, reservation, and operational guidelines to uphold consistency and conformity.

Qualifications and Experience of Apprentice Stylist:

• Possession of a valid cosmetology license is necessary.
• Familiarity with essential salon practices, instruments, and substances required for tasks including hair cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.
• Keen interest and capabilities in expanding skills within different salon service domains, such as makeup artistry and ear piercing where appropriate.
• Demonstrating excellent communication aptitude and a passion for cultivating enduring client bonds.
• Proficiency in working alone or in partnership with others in a team atmosphere.
