We are seeking a passionate and experienced Waxing Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in body waxing and related esthetic services, with the ability to educate and inspire students in a salon environment. As a Waxing Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of beauty professionals by providing hands-on training, demonstrating techniques, and ensuring high standards of sanitation and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive waxing curriculum that covers techniques, safety protocols, and sanitation practices.
• Conduct practical demonstrations of body waxing procedures, including hair threading and other related services.
• Provide individualized instruction to students, ensuring they gain proficiency in waxing techniques and customer interaction.
• Evaluate student performance through assessments and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
• Maintain an organized classroom environment that promotes learning and safety.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and techniques to ensure the curriculum remains relevant.
• Assist with retail sales of waxing products and salon software tools such as MINDBODY.
• Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages student engagement and participation.

Skills

• Proficient in body waxing techniques with a strong understanding of sanitation practices.
• Experience in retail sales within the beauty industry.
• Knowledge of esthetic laser treatments and related services such as botulinum toxin treatment, dermal fillers, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, makeup application, barbering, and nail care is preferred.
• Familiarity with salon software systems like MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with students and clients alike.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey information and instructions to diverse learners.
