Your expertise will help elevate our salon's reputation for excellence while providing personalized consultations and outstanding customer service. Responsibilities

• Perform Blow Outs and styling services.
• Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and texturizing treatments with precision and artistry.
• Apply advanced techniques such as hair extensions.
• Conduct thorough consultations to understand clients' desires, recommend suitable styles or treatments, and educate on hair care routines.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by adhering to all health regulations and ensuring tools and workstations are sanitized after each use.
• Assist in retail sales by recommending hair care products, upselling services, and managing inventory through retail math skills.
• Support front desk operations by greeting clients warmly, booking appointments, and managing client flow smoothly.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in styling techniques and customer service best practices.
• Manage store operations when needed, including opening/closing procedures and ensuring a welcoming salon environment.

Experience

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license required.
• Proven experience in professional hair styling with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility in Blow Outs. Cuts, colors, and special treatments are a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards specific to beauty salons to ensure client safety at all times.
• Strong communication skills to effectively consult with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored recommendations.
• Experience in retail sales techniques including upselling products and services to enhance client satisfaction and revenue.

Job Type: Contract

Projected Total Compensation: $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
