Senior Esthetician & Skincare Specialist

Our client, a premier luxury spa and wellness center, is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Esthetician & Skincare Specialist to join their esteemed team in Los Angeles, California, US . This role is for an individual with exceptional client care abilities, advanced knowledge of skincare science, and a dedication to providing transformative facial treatments and personalized skincare consultations. The Senior Esthetician will perform a variety of advanced skincare services, including deep cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, and product application, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. You will also be responsible for conducting thorough skin analysis, recommending appropriate treatment plans, and educating clients on product usage and at-home care routines to achieve optimal results. Experience with specialized treatments such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and light therapy is highly desirable. As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to training junior estheticians, maintaining treatment room standards, and ensuring a seamless and luxurious client experience from booking to follow-up. A strong understanding of cosmetic ingredients, contraindications, and evolving skincare trends is crucial. The ideal candidate is client-focused, results-driven, and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building lasting relationships with clientele.

Key Responsibilities

Perform advanced facial treatments, customized skincare consultations, and personalized treatment plans. Conduct thorough skin analysis to identify client concerns and recommend appropriate services and products. Educate clients on skincare principles, product ingredients, and effective at-home care routines. Administer specialized treatments such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and LED therapy. Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding new skincare technologies, ingredients, and treatment modalities. Build and maintain a loyal clientele through exceptional service and personalized care. Promote and sell skincare products, achieving targeted sales goals. Maintain meticulous client records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in treatment rooms. Contribute to the training and development of junior estheticians, sharing expertise and best practices.

Qualifications

Current and valid Esthetician license in California. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed Esthetician, with a focus on advanced skincare treatments. Proven expertise in performing a wide range of facial treatments and skin analysis. In-depth knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, skin physiology, and various skin conditions. Experience with advanced treatment technologies (e.g., chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser treatments, micro-needling). Excellent client consultation and communication skills. Strong sales aptitude and ability to effectively recommend products and services. Professional demeanor and appearance, with a passion for the beauty and wellness industry. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed. Certification in specialized aesthetic treatments is a significant advantage.
