Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of advanced facial treatments, including deep cleansing, exfoliation, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and LED therapy. Conduct thorough skin analyses to identify client concerns and recommend personalized treatment plans and home care regimens. Administer specialized treatments such as anti-aging therapies, acne treatments, and corrective skincare protocols. Educate clients on skin health, product ingredients, and proper skincare techniques. Stay current with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in the esthetics industry through continuous education and training. Maintain meticulous client records, documenting treatment details, progress, and recommendations. Promote and sell high-quality skincare products and treatment packages, meeting sales targets. Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of treatment rooms, equipment, and implements according to spa standards and health regulations. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients feel comfortable, informed, and pampered throughout their visit. Collaborate with other spa professionals to offer integrated wellness services. Assist in training new estheticians and share expertise within the team. Manage appointment scheduling and maintain efficient workflow within the treatment area. Uphold the spa's brand standards and contribute to a positive, luxurious atmosphere.
Qualifications: Current New York State Esthetician License required. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed esthetician, with a strong portfolio of advanced treatments. Extensive knowledge of dermatology, skin types, conditions, and ingredients. Proficiency in various facial techniques, equipment operation (e.g., microcurrent, ultrasound, lasers), and chemical peels. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients. Strong sales and customer service orientation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation. Professional appearance and demeanor. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and some evenings. Certification in specialized treatments (e.g., oncology esthetics, permanent makeup) is a plus. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
