Key Responsibilities
Perform a wide array of advanced facial treatments, including deep cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, and anti-aging therapies. Conduct thorough skin analysis consultations to understand client needs and recommend customized treatment plans. Administer specialized aesthetic procedures such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, and LED therapy. Educate clients on proper skincare routines, product recommendations, and at-home care. Maintain detailed client records, including treatment history, progress notes, and product preferences. Ensure a pristine and welcoming environment within the treatment room. Adhere to all spa policies, procedures, and hygiene standards. Stay current with the latest trends, techniques, and advancements in esthetics and skincare. Promote and sell skincare products and additional services to clients, enhancing their overall experience. Build and maintain a loyal client base through exceptional service and personalized attention. Collaborate with other spa professionals to offer integrated wellness services. Manage appointment scheduling and ensure efficient use of treatment time. Handle client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and discretion. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Contribute to a positive and team-oriented spa atmosphere.
Qualifications
New York State Esthetician License required. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed esthetician, preferably in a high-end spa or medispa setting. Proven expertise in performing advanced skincare treatments and operating various aesthetic equipment. In-depth knowledge of skin types, conditions, ingredients, and corrective skincare. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-building skills. Ability to provide expert skincare advice and product recommendations. Strong understanding of sanitation, sterilization, and safety protocols. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends. Experience with medical-grade skincare lines and devices is a significant plus. Passion for the beauty and wellness industry. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
