Our client, a trendsetting beauty and wellness brand, is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Beauty & Wellness Product Developer to join their innovative, fully remote team. This role is perfect for an individual passionate about creating groundbreaking products that resonate with consumers and push the boundaries of the industry. You will be instrumental in the ideation, formulation, testing, and launch of new products across skincare, makeup, and wellness categories. Key responsibilities include identifying market trends and consumer needs to conceptualize new product ideas. You will work closely with R&D teams, formulators, and manufacturers to develop product prototypes, oversee stability and efficacy testing, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Collaborating with marketing, sales, and packaging teams to develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies is vital. Managing the product development lifecycle from concept to commercialization, including budget management and timeline adherence, will be a core function. Staying abreast of ingredient innovations, emerging technologies, and competitor activities is crucial for maintaining a competitive edge.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in beauty and wellness product development. A deep understanding of cosmetic formulations, raw materials, and manufacturing processes is mandatory. Experience with both skincare and color cosmetics is highly preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong project management skills, and excellent organizational abilities are essential. Exceptional creativity, a keen eye for detail, and strong analytical skills are required. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for collaborating effectively with internal teams and external partners in a remote environment. Familiarity with global cosmetic regulations is a significant advantage. You should be adept at translating market insights into successful, commercially viable products. This is a remote position, requiring self-motivation, strong time management, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative virtual workplace.
