The ideal candidate is a licensed, certified, and highly motivated professional with a proven track record in both esthetic services and management. You should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to creating a serene and welcoming spa environment. Responsibilities include:
Performing a wide range of advanced facial and skin treatments with precision and care. Consulting with clients to assess their skincare needs and recommend personalized treatment plans. Managing spa operations, including staff scheduling, client bookings, and front desk duties. Training and mentoring junior estheticians, ensuring adherence to service protocols and quality standards. Maintaining inventory of spa products and supplies, and managing ordering processes. Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Driving client satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service and personalized attention. Contributing to marketing efforts and promoting spa services and retail products. Monitoring spa financial performance, including revenue and expenses. Staying updated on the latest trends, techniques, and products in the esthetics industry. Candidates must hold a valid esthetician license and relevant certifications. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing aesthetician, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role within a spa or salon environment, is required. Experience with medical-grade skincare lines and advanced technologies (e.g., laser, micro-needling) is highly desirable. Strong sales and client retention skills are essential. This is a hybrid role, requiring dedicated time in the New York City, New York, US spa for hands-on service delivery and operational oversight, with flexibility for administrative tasks performed remotely.
