Our client is searching for an exceptional Lead Esthetician & Spa Manager to lead their premier wellness center in the heart of **New York City, New York, US**. This role is perfect for a passionate skincare professional with a flair for leadership and a commitment to providing unparalleled client experiences. The Lead Esthetician will be responsible for performing a wide range of advanced skincare treatments, from facials and peels to microdermabrasion and waxing, while also guiding and mentoring a team of talented estheticians. You will be instrumental in developing and refining service protocols, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and client care are met at all times. Additionally, the Spa Manager aspect of this role involves overseeing daily spa operations, managing staff schedules, inventory control, client booking systems, and ensuring profitability. This includes driving sales of retail products and service packages, handling client inquiries and concerns with professionalism, and contributing to marketing efforts to attract and retain clientele. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of skin physiology, current aesthetic trends, and a strong business acumen to manage a thriving spa environment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform advanced esthetic treatments (facials, peels, waxing, etc.). Lead, train, and mentor a team of estheticians. Develop and maintain service menus and treatment protocols. Ensure adherence to strict hygiene and safety standards. Manage spa scheduling, appointments, and client flow. Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies. Drive retail sales and service package bookings. Handle client relations, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction. Manage spa budget and financial performance. Contribute to marketing and promotional activities. Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies. Qualifications: Licensed Esthetician in the state of New York. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Esthetician. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a spa setting. Proficiency in a wide array of skincare treatments and technologies. Strong knowledge of skincare ingredients and product lines. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Proven sales and client retention abilities. Experience with spa management software. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Passion for beauty, wellness, and client well-being. Business management or marketing background is a plus. This is a critical on-site role demanding a strong presence to lead the team and manage the facility effectively.
