Lead Aesthetician and Skincare Specialist

Our client, a prestigious and cutting-edge medispa located in the heart of Los Angeles, California, US , is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Aesthetician and Skincare Specialist to oversee their renowned skincare services. This role demands a deep understanding of dermatological principles, advanced treatment modalities, and a passion for client-centered care. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of facial treatments, advising clients on personalized skincare regimens, managing inventory, and mentoring junior aesthetician staff.

Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive skin assessments and consultations to understand client needs and concerns. Design and deliver customized facial treatments, including deep cleansing, exfoliation, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and LED therapy. Administer advanced aesthetic procedures such as microneedling, dermaplaning, and specialized mask treatments, adhering to strict safety protocols. Educate clients on effective at-home skincare routines and recommend appropriate product lines based on their skin type and goals. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in skincare technology, ingredients, and treatment techniques through continuous education and research. Maintain meticulous client records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and product recommendations. Manage and maintain inventory of skincare products and professional supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and order placement. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior aesthetician team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Assist in developing and updating treatment protocols and service offerings. Ensure the treatment rooms are impeccably clean, sanitized, and well-equipped at all times, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Promote spa services and products to clients, contributing to the overall revenue goals of the medispa. Qualifications: Valid California State Aesthetician License. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a licensed aesthetician, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role. Extensive knowledge of various skin types, conditions, and effective treatment strategies. Proficiency in performing a wide array of advanced facial techniques and utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. Excellent understanding of skincare ingredients and product formulations. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building rapport and trust with clients. Strong sales and customer service orientation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems for client record-keeping is a plus.
