This position focuses on delivering exceptional customer service at the cosmetics register. Associates in this role provide knowledgeable assistance with beauty and personal care products while ensuring smooth and accurate checkout experiences. The role involves maintaining a clean and well organized cosmetics area and supporting customer engagement through product familiarity and professional service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Cosmetics Cashier:

• Welcome customers and provide assistance with cosmetic and beauty product inquiries.
• Operate the cash register to scan items and complete transactions accurately.
• Apply promotions, coupons, and discounts correctly at checkout.
• Keep the cosmetics department tidy, organized, and fully stocked.
• Stay updated on new product launches, promotions, and features.
• Support loss prevention through attentive customer interaction and adherence to procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications and Experience of Cosmetics Cashier:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail or cashier experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong interest or knowledge in cosmetics, skincare, or personal care products.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work mid and closing shifts, including weekends and holidays.
