Character Effects Artist

A company is looking for a Character Effects Artist.

Key Responsibilities

Designs and crafts character effects including cloth and fur simulations

Develops tools to improve the Character FX pipeline

Creates simulations and animation cleanup for production shots

Required Qualifications

Excellent eye for motion and understanding of animation principles

Proficiency in software such as Maya and Houdini

Scripting proficiency in Mel and Python

Ability to work independently or within a group

Production experience preferred
