Responsibilities

• Perform various hair braiding styles, including traditional, intricate designs, and extensions
• Provide additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and hair threading as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
• Use salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client records
• Assist clients with product recommendations and retail sales to enhance their salon experience
• Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling payments
• Upsell additional services and retail products to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Mentor junior staff or apprentices when applicable to promote skill development within the team
• Stay updated on current trends in hair styling, color theory, and beauty techniques

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hair braiding, extensions, and styling techniques
• Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY or similar platforms
• Familiarity with color theory, sanitation practices, and cosmetology or barbering licenses preferred
• Skills in eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and hair threading are a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills to build lasting client relationships
• Ability to perform retail sales and upselling effectively
• Experience with store management or front desk operations is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Professional appearance with excellent interpersonal skills for mentoring and team collaboration

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.27 - $26.82 per hour
