Overview

A busy, hip and high end salon in the heart of Andersonville is seeking one dedicated and knowledgeable Color Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting the right colors and products for their needs. Your expertise in color matching and product knowledge will enhance the shopping experience, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others.

Duties

• Assist customers in selecting colors and products that meet their needs, providing expert advice on color combinations and applications.
• Utilize retail math to manage inventory levels effectively, ensuring that popular colors and products are readily available.
• Supervise team members during shifts, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve sales goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all color samples and displays are well-stocked and visually appealing.
• Process transactions accurately using POS systems, ensuring efficient check-out experiences for customers.
• Handle customer inquiries via phone with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette, addressing concerns and providing solutions.
• Engage with customers to promote products, utilizing sales techniques to encourage purchases.
• Stay informed about current trends in color and design to provide up-to-date recommendations to customers.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred, with a focus on customer service.
• Strong basic math skills to perform retail calculations accurately.
• Experience with supervising or leading a team is advantageous.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse customer base.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
• A genuine interest in color theory and design is a plus, along with knowledge of grocery store products related to color selection.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
