Role Overview
You will be the front line in driving relationships and revenue with large U.S. retailers in the beauty / health / wellness space.
- Manage national retail accounts (or partner with brokers/distributors)
- Negotiate product listings, promotions and terms
- Coordinate cross-functional execution
- Ensure retail partners' strategies align with our brand goals
Key Responsibilities
- Owning and growing flagship retail partnerships: Target, Walmart, Ulta Beauty, TJX, and other national chains
- Developing and executing a retail growth roadmap: forecasting, P&L, margin targets, distribution goals
- Leading account negotiations: listing approvals, promotional plans (e.g. displays, co-op funds, feature placements, seasonal resets)
- Developing retail sell-in presentations, business plans, and pitch decks for category managers / buyers
- Collaborating closely with marketing, operations, supply chain, finance, and analytics to ensure execution (fulfillment, promo materials, pricing, inventory)
- Monitoring retail performance: sell-through, replenishment, markdowns, inventory health, and optimizing accordingly
- Analyzing competitive landscape, retailer behavior, new channel opportunities, merchandising trends
- Serving as internal liaison / voice of the retailer — escalating issues, aligning internal teams, ensuring retailer satisfaction
- Onboarding new SKUs/channels: managing product launches, brand training, planograms, merchandising
- Maintaining cadence of reporting: monthly, quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with retail partners and internal stakeholders
- Traveling as needed (buyer meetings, store audits, trade shows)
This role requires 3+ years of B2B / retail / account management experience, ideally in beauty, CPG, skincare, or wellness brands.
