Ultimate Salon Professionals (USP, LLC) is a fast-growing, profitable company representing industry-leading brands including ENJOY, Formula 18, Colure Professional Hair Care, and SkinJoy Body Products. We are seeking a full-time, entrepreneurial, and highly motivated Independent Contractor to drive sales and market growth throughout Chicago, IL and the Northern Suburbs.

Position Overview

As a USP Outside Sales Representative, you will deliver direct-to-salon sales and service while representing our brands with professionalism, passion, and expertise. This position includes working 2 weeks in your home territory as well as required travel outside your home territory twice per month (all travel expenses covered).

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow salon accounts through strategic planning, consistent follow-through, and exceptional customer service.
Execute business development activities, including product knowledge presentations (“sell-in”) and ongoing education to support salon sell-through.
Collaborate closely with USP’s internal team, including Business Development, Education, and Sales leadership.
Deliver on corporate sales and education goals across your assigned territory.
Provide salons with clear product knowledge, merchandising guidance, and selling strategies to drive retail performance.
Partner with local USP Education Consultants to support ongoing market development.
Achieve sales targets, expand existing business, and open new accounts.
Follow all company directives and performance expectations to ensure steady market growth.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience in the beauty industry.
Proven success in hair care, beauty, or health-related product sales.
Strong organizational, strategic planning, and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Self-driven, competitive, and motivated to grow your business and earnings.
Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance required.
