Job Summary of Junior Stylist

This job entails providing outstanding customer service in a salon environment and receiving practical training in hair treatments from an experienced stylist. It serves as a temporary position intended to lead to a permanent stylist position. Duties progress gradually over six months, moving from aiding in various services and retail tasks to conducting hair treatments and styling autonomously. Success in this role hinges on a deep interest in beauty, dedication to growth, and a focus on providing exceptional customer service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Junior Stylist:

• Help hairstylists by aiding in shampooing, treatments, styling, and applying color, contributing to enhancing guest satisfaction and achieving sales targets for the store.
• - Conduct salon services autonomously post the initial training period, such as hair trimming, coloring, rejuvenating treatments, blow-drying, and hairstyling.
• Provide tailored suggestions and exhibits to improve retail purchases and customer allegiance.
• Maintain a salon space that is both hygienic and orderly, in accordance with the guidelines set by the company and the state regulatory board.
• Enhance and encourage in-store occasions and promotional initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Work together with team members, skin specialists, and sales staff to enhance the overall customer journey in the store.
• Adhere to all safety, cleanliness, scheduling, and customer service procedures to ensure uniformity and adherence.

Qualifications and Experience of Junior Stylist

• A cosmetology license is a mandatory requirement.
• Knowledge of fundamental salon methods, equipment, and products used for procedures like trimming, dyeing, shaping, and therapies.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and talent for developing expertise across various salon services, such as makeup application and ear piercing where relevant.
• Possessing effective communication skills and a commitment to creating enduring connections with customers.
• Capability to function autonomously as well as cooperatively in a group setting.
