The main objective of this position is to optimize sales in the prestige category, which includes products such as color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrances. The role involves engaging with customers to understand their preferences, recommending high-end items, demonstrating beauty techniques, and ensuring that the store is well-maintained and meets quality standards. It plays a significant part in creating a high-performing and diverse environment that promotes excellent customer experiences and retail sales within Ulta Beauty's prestigious and iconic product offerings.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Fragrance Specialist:

Drive revenue growth in the upscale sector by suggesting complementary products and services, alongside promoting current promotions and events to attract more customers.
Create unparalleled guest experiences through individualized consultations, expert makeup applications, and detailed skincare evaluations.
Provide courteous and accurate assistance with sales transactions, returns, and exchanges.
Uphold the cleanliness and hygiene levels of the makeup stations, testers, and the prestigious area.
Offer help with tasks related to merchandising, including the arrangement of planograms, the completion of resets, the creation of marketing displays, and the processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Plan and facilitate in-store events and service schedules to meet store objectives and enhance customer participation.
Maintain a deep understanding of products by staying updated on industry trends, new products, and category education.
Abide by all corporate policies, measures for preventing losses, and standards for appropriate dress.

Qualifications and Experience of Fragrance Specialist:

It is preferred for applicants to hold a high school diploma.
Pertinent state laws may require individuals to obtain a cosmetology, esthetician, or demonstrator license as applicable.
The ideal candidate should have a background in retail, beauty, or similar areas, with a minimum of one year of experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills and knack for fostering enduring guest connections.
Competence in performing duties independently, collaboratively, and with adaptability in working hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
