This role is dedicated to providing high-level beauty services and ensuring guests have a fantastic experience. Responsibilities include personalized consultations, recommending appropriate products and services, and expertly executing salon treatments. The position supports leadership in achieving performance goals, maintaining guest service standards, and complying with procedures, while encouraging a cooperative salon culture.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Creative Stylist:

• Provide a wide range of salon options, encompassing design, cutting, coloring, texture treatments, styling services, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup services, and ear piercing as needed.
• Attain or surpass $1250 in average weekly sales by focusing on exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Heighten guest engagement through hands-on product demonstrations and tailored service recommendations.
• Be involved in store events and sales promotions that aim to heighten customer satisfaction and engagement levels.
• Stay updated on beauty trends and products to provide guests with consultations that are knowledgeable and in tune with the latest trends.
• Establish dedicated guest affiliations and advertise Ulta Beauty’s loyalty programs and mobile app.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and retail staff to provide integrated and efficient assistance to customers.
• Guarantee the salon's strict adherence to safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards is consistently maintained.
• Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of the salon and designated spaces by effectively communicating supply needs and ensuring supplies are stocked.

Qualifications and Experience of Creative Stylist:

• An active license in cosmetology is a must-have for applicants.
• A background in working at a salon is essential for this role.
• Capable in haircutting, coloring, styling, treatments, makeup, and other advanced techniques used in salons.
• Skilled in safely and effectively handling professional equipment and top-notch salon products.
• Showcasing excellent retail and communication proficiencies, enabling the capacity to educate customers and make product recommendations.
• Ability to prioritize customer needs and sustain long-lasting relationships.
• Has a team-focused approach and is willing to adjust to different business requirements and working hours.

Salary

The pay scale for this role spans from $15.00 to $17.80 hourly.
