Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Regional Makeup Artist based in the city of Chicago. The Regional Makeup Artist will be responsible for providing expert makeup applications, and personalized skincare consultations to clients. They will also be expected to drive sales by demonstrating product usage and benefits, training staff on product knowledge and application techniques, and delivering exceptional customer service. Regular public appearances and events participation are also key components of this role.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Minimum 3 year’s retail beauty experience, (Nordstrom, Saks, Neiman Marcus is a plus)
• Excellent artistry educational and customer service skills
• Proven ability to set and achieve personal sales goals while supporting the goals of the team
• Ability to cultivate clientele
• Proven track record at planning and executing events in a retail environment
• High energy, reliable, punctual and goal oriented
• Ability to recruit clients with product and introduce our brand to new customers
• Build and maintain store and client relationship to maximize sales and repeat business
• Flexible scheduling
• Expert makeup application and Skincare
• Strong Customer Service and Sales skills
• Experience in Training staff and conducting product demonstrations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Passion for beauty and skincare industry
• Relevant certifications in makeup artistry is a plus
