Medical Aesthetician: Laser Expert & Skin-Care Specialist

Full-Time | Thursday–Sunday (Approx. 34–35 Hours/Week)

Skin Lab, an Aya brand located on the Upper East Side, is seeking an experienced Licensed Medical Aesthetician to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative, high-performance environment where advanced aesthetic technology meets personalized patient care.

We are looking for a skilled provider with a strong background in medical aesthetics who is confident in laser treatments, advanced skincare procedures, and patient consultations.

Schedule

Thursday–Sunday

Approximately 34–35 hours per week

Weekend availability required

Position Overview

The Medical Aesthetician is responsible for delivering non-invasive, medical-grade aesthetic treatments while creating exceptional patient experiences. This role requires strong consultation skills, clinical confidence, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform medical-grade aesthetic treatments within scope of practice
• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and develop customized treatment plans
• Administer treatments including laser procedures, chemical peels, facials, microdermabrasion, and other advanced skincare services
• Educate patients on skincare regimens and recommend appropriate retail products
• Build and maintain a strong, loyal client base
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with medical protocols
• Collaborate effectively with medical providers and operations team

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Aesthetician
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical spa, dermatology practice, or plastic surgery office
• Laser experience required (device-specific experience is a plus but not mandatory)
• Strong consultation and treatment planning skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment

Preferred Experience

• Experience operating advanced aesthetic devices such as Sciton®, Candela®, Ultherapy®, or CoolSculpting®
• Strong patient retention and client relationship skills
