Duties

• Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans covering hair styling, coloring, extensions, and esthetic treatments such as facials, body waxing, and laser procedures.
• Conduct classroom instruction on cosmetology fundamentals, including anatomy knowledge, trigger point therapy, and nail care.
• Demonstrate advanced techniques like eyelash extensions, hair threading, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments to enhance student proficiency.
• Provide hands-on training in barbering, deep tissue massage, makeup application, and other aesthetic treatments to build practical skills.
• Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
• Maintain a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and professionalism among students.
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques into curriculum to ensure relevance and excellence in training.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology license with extensive experience in hair styling, coloring, extensions, and aesthetic treatments.
• Proven classroom or adult education experience with the ability to effectively teach diverse learners.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to cosmetology and aesthetic procedures.
• Expertise in advanced techniques such as trigger point therapy, dermabrasion, laser treatments, eyelash extensions, and body waxing.
• Excellent lesson planning skills with the ability to develop engaging curriculum tailored to adult learners.
• Familiarity with nail care services and barbering is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills with a lively and motivating teaching style.
