Thrive Wellness & Aesthetics is a physician-led, boutique medical aesthetics and wellness practice in downtown Chicago. We focus on skin health, client trust, long-term outcomes, and a calm, elevated experience—not rushed appointments or volume-based care.

Our services include advanced skincare, facials, chemical peels, body treatments, and optional energy-based technologies for estheticians interested in expanding their skill set.

This is not a high-pressure spa. We value precision, consistency, professionalism, and genuine client relationships.

Who This Role Is For

This role is for a medical esthetician who takes pride in their work, values stability, and wants to grow with a practice—not bounce between them.

They do not need to perform laser treatments to succeed here.

Interest and openness to learning advanced devices is a plus, not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

They will

• Provide high-quality esthetic services including:
• Customized facials
• Chemical peels
• Skin health treatments and education
• Advanced skincare services
• Educate clients on skin health, treatment plans, and maintenance
• Create a calm, professional, and trusting client experience
• Recommend services and products through education and outcomes, not pressure
• Maintain accurate charting and documentation in the EMR
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and supplies
• Collaborate with the provider and front desk to support rebooking and retention
• Follow all protocols, safety standards, and scope-of-practice guidelines

Optional growth opportunities (not required)

• Training in laser or energy-based devices
• Body contouring technologies
• Advanced device certifications

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Aesthetician License (required)
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Professional, warm communication style
• Comfortable with EMRs, checklists, and structured workflows
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable
• Respect for medical oversight and protocols

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience in a medical spa or physician-led practice
• Interest in expanding into advanced or device-based treatments
• Experience treating diverse skin types and tones
• Multilingual (Spanish, Polish, Arabic, Mandarin, or other languages a plus)
• Comfort educating first-time or long-term clients
