We are looking for a Wig Connoisseur Stylist—someone who understands wigs as both a technical craft and an intimate, identity-affirming product.

Role Overview

This role is for a highly skilled wig stylist with a deep eye for hairline realism, scalp illusion, and luxury finishing. You will be responsible for the final visual and wearable execution of our wigs—ensuring every unit meets an exceptional standard before it reaches a customer, stylist, or camera.

This is a hands-on, in-studio role, working closely with our production and product development teams. In addition to styling excellence, this role supports day-to-day production flow and light operational tasks that keep the studio running smoothly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Wig Styling & Finishing

Perform expert hairline with plucking tailored to face shape, density, and realism
Execute undetectable melting techniques (glueless and adhesive-based)
Customize parting, density transitions, and baby hair detailing with restraint and intention
Style wigs for:
Customer delivery
Content shoots
Press, gifting, and events
Maintain consistent luxury QC across all finished units

Product & Craft Collaboration

Collaborate with the product team to refine:
Hairline construction
Density maps
Wearability and realism standards
Provide hands-on feedback that informs product development and future iterations

Production & Studio Support

Assist with general wig production tasks as needed (prep, finishing, organization)
Support fittings and in-studio client experiences when required
Help maintain a clean, organized, and high-standard studio environment
Support light administrative or operational tasks related to production flow, inventory tracking, or studio readiness

Required Experience & Skills

Proven experience as a wig stylist or lace specialist working at a high level
Expert-level hairline plucking (natural density gradients are non-negotiable)
Deep understanding of:
Lace vs. non-lace bases
Scalp realism
Hair direction, growth patterns, and density balance
Strong aesthetic judgment—knowing when not to over-style
Ability to work cleanly, precisely, and repeatably
Exceptional attention to detail and patience
Comfortable contributing beyond styling in a hands-on production environment

Credentials

Cosmetology license preferred (not required if experience is exceptional)
Portfolio required - please submit with application

Melted installs
Video strongly preferred

Medical or alopecia clients
High-end or celebrity clientele
Comfort working in a startup or R&D environment
