At The Hair Parlor on 8th in Miracle Mile, Los Angeles, we’re offering a business-to-business, commission-based opportunity for experienced California-licensed cosmetologists who want the freedom of their own business combined with the structure, support, and energy of a high-performing salon team.

About the Opportunity

This is not a traditional employee position. You’ll operate as an independent business (LLC, Corp or sole proprietor) under a commission-based structure, giving you the flexibility of ownership while eliminating the overhead and isolation of a booth or suite.

We’re looking for professionals who

Have 5+ years of salon experience behind the chair.
Are licensed in California for Cosmetology.
Have an established clientele and are seeking a refined, well-managed salon home to elevate their guest experience.
Want to work in a collaborative, education-driven environment that values artistry, professionalism, and growth.
Appreciate that we handle the operations, marketing, support staff, and space management — so you can focus on your clients and creativity.

What We Provide

A beautifully maintained salon in Miracle Mile / Hancock Park area of Los Angeles.
Front desk coordination, backbar, towels, and business systems all included.
Shared assistant support, guest amenities, and client scheduling.
A clean straight commission contract structure designed for independent stylists.

Schedule & Details

Set your own hours 7 days a week, Tuesday through Sunday, with flexible chair schedules available for full-time stylists. Monday is our cleaning and maintenance day so hours would be limited around this.

Stylists will operate under a B2B commission agreement — maintaining their own business identity while collaborating under The Hair Parlor on 8th umbrella.
