Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, highlights, balayage, and hair extensions with precision and creativity
• Consult with clients to understand their vision and recommend suitable styles and treatments based on hair type, face shape, and personal preferences
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and following health regulations to ensure client safety
• Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing retail sales efficiently
• Upsell retail products such as hair care essentials, makeup items, and styling tools to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue

Experience

• Proven experience as a hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and techniques
• Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY or equivalent for appointment management and retail tracking
• Expertise in color theory for creating customized color solutions that complement individual features
• Familiarity with sanitation protocols and store management practices to ensure a safe and organized environment
• Excellent communication skills for engaging clients effectively and providing personalized recommendations
• Ability to perform retail math calculations for upselling products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.13 - $30.27 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
