Full Time Hair Assistant/Receptionist for SoHo Upscale-Salon

Featured in Timeout New York and Refinery as the best hair salon for color and cut transformations, The Drawing Room New York strives to have an exceptional team to deliver the expectations of our clientele. We are now interviewing for a licensed assistant with passion and commitment.

We offer weekly in-salon education to all of our assistants. Through our extensive training program you can have a long term position that will lead you to become an outstanding professional in our establishment / competitive hourly rate.

The ideal candidate should posses the following

• Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment.
• Being a tem player.
• Have the ability to take initiative when assisting a stylist.
• Check in product and/or color orders when they arrive.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the stylists stations and the salon overall.
• Previous experience at the hair salon preferred, but not required

There is room to grow! The ideal candidate will work 2 days at the desk and 2 days assisting.

Job Types: Contract, Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
