Hair Salon/Stylist Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a passionate Hair Stylist Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position is perfect for a hair stylist who is looking to learn from the best and after time transition from a salon assistant to a Hair Stylist! You will play a crucial role in assisting our Master Stylist while enhancing our clients' beauty and confidence through expert hair care services. You will receive training on different haircuts, styling, coloring, smoothing treatments, and head spa treatments. All this while ensuring an exceptional customer experience in a welcoming salon environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, smoothing treatments, and styling to meet client needs and preferences.
• Engage with clients to understand their desired looks and provide professional advice on hair care products and techniques.
• Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.

Skills

• Passionate about learning different salon services and becoming a independent Hair Stylist on our team.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to clients regarding their hair care needs and have returning clients.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
