Position Summary

The Team Manager will lead a commission-based sales team, overseeing daily operations, training, and performance management. This role requires experience in door-to-door or guerrilla style marketing, ensuring sales quotas are consistently met, while maintaining high standards for brand representation and customer experience. Bonus compensation is tied to the team’s performance.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Training: Interview, onboard, and train new sales representatives to ensure understanding of Spa Girl Marketing’s mission, services, and sales protocols.
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective goals.
Event Staffing: Coordinate scheduling, confirm team availability, and ensure all pop-up events are fully staffed and well-prepared.
Performance Management: Track daily and event sales metrics, review progress, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
Communication & Coordination: Serve as the main liaison between sales staff, event coordinators, and the marketing department to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
Event Operations Oversight: Ensure each pop-up activation runs efficiently, professionally, and in line with Spa Girl Marketing’s brand image.
Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in team processes, event execution, and lead management to boost efficiency and results.
Reporting: Prepare regular summaries and updates for management regarding staffing, sales data, and event outcomes.

Qualifications

Must-Have

Minimum 2 years of management experience, preferably leading sales teams.
Minimum 2 years of direct sales experience, preferably in door-to-door, guerrilla, or commission-based sales.
Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and hold a team accountable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage scheduling, staffing, and event operations.

Preferred

Comfortable working in an on-site setting for pop-up events.
Experience recruiting, onboarding, and training sales representatives.
Familiarity with sales tracking, reporting, and performance metrics.
Ability to work flexibly based on event calendars and campaign schedules.
Proactive problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.

Work Schedule

Flexible scheduling based on campaign and event calendar. Team Manager is expected to attend major pop-up events and remain available for communication with sales team and management throughout the week.
