Duties

• Provide expert natural hair styling services including twist-outs, braid-outs, locs, bantu knots, and other textured styles tailored to client preferences.
• Perform hair treatments such as deep conditioning, detangling, and scalp care to promote healthy hair growth.
• Assist clients with hair extensions installation, maintenance, and removal using safe techniques.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all styling stations and tools following health regulations.
• Upsell retail products such as hair extensions, styling tools, and hair care products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Support store management with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing walk-ins, and handling retail sales.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Natural Hair Stylist with a portfolio showcasing textured hair styling techniques.
• Knowledge of hair extensions installation methods and maintenance best practices.
• Experience with sanitation protocols specific to cosmetology.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging clients professionally while providing personalized recommendations.
• Ability to perform retail math calculations for upselling products confidently and accurately.
