Medical Director – Aesthetic Medicine (Part-Time)

Skin Wrx is a new aesthetic medicine platform being launched by seasoned operators with a track record of scaling consumer and healthcare-adjacent businesses. We are building a modern, compliance-first medical aesthetics practice with strong growth potential and are seeking a California-licensed physician to serve as Medical Director.

This role is ideal for a physician who wants meaningful involvement in a well-run practice without managing day-to-day operations, with an option for longer-term economic alignment as the business scales.

The Role

The Medical Director will provide clinical oversight and medical governance for aesthetic services in accordance with California law. All non-clinical operations (staffing, scheduling, marketing, growth, finance) are handled by Skin Wrx’s experienced management team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated Medical Director for the practice
• Approve and oversee clinical protocols and standards of care
• Supervise and delegate to licensed providers (RNs, NPs, PAs) as permitted by CA law
• Be available for periodic chart review and clinical consultation
• Ensure compliance with applicable medical and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted California medical license
• Experience in aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, EM, FM, or related fields preferred
• Familiarity with injectables and non-surgical aesthetics (or willingness to onboard)
• Professional, collaborative, and comfortable working with experienced operators
• Interest in a longer-term partnership opportunity is a plus

Compensation

• $3,000–$6,000 per month, depending on experience, scope, and availability
• Performance-based profit participation available
• Potential future equity or equity-like participation for the right long-term fit (structured in compliance with California law)
