Nurse Practitioner Dermatology in Palmdale

Job Description

• Provide comprehensive dermatologic care including diagnosis, treatment, and management of skin conditions such as acne, rashes, and skin cancer.
• Perform cosmetic dermatology procedures including injectables and laser treatments (training may be provided).
• Conduct full skin exams and perform biopsies and other minor dermatologic procedures.
• Educate patients on preventive skincare and post-procedure care.
• Document patient history, exams, treatments, and progress in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and clinic staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all clinical policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of practice (California, Nevada, or Arizona).
• National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum 1 year of dermatology experience preferred (but not required for exceptional candidates).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passionate about dermatology and patient-centered care.
