Key Responsibilities Demand Planning & Forecasting

  • Market Interrogation: Lead the market interrogation process and integrate residual stocks from previous campaigns.
  • Forecast Reliability: Guarantee the reliability of Sell-in forecasts for the concerned scope. The forecast is done by the global Supply Chain team in France and will be adjusted based on the information shared the USA Demand & Supply Planner (markets trends, openings, animations, investments, etc.)
  • Daily Updates: Manage daily forecast updates as required by Management or Sales teams.
  • Event Planning: Plan major marketing events with the marketing team, including Gift with Purchase (GWP) forecasts and secure the availability of the data in the central forecast.

Supply Planning & Replenishment

  • Replenishment Management: Validate the replenishment activities and review all purchase and inventory data with the expertise of the Central team in France
  • Order Arbitration: Responsible for the arbitration of orders and close monitoring of fulfillment rates.
  • Stock availability Liaison: Work closely with France teams to monitor stock availability and avoid supply disruptions.

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Stock Oversight: Pilot inventory levels and lead stock review meetings with operational marketing and finance.
  • Specific Stock Management: Identify and manage specific inventory categories, including aged inventory, residual campaign stocks, and products nearing expiration or regulatory changes.
  • Product Lifecycle: Manage substitutions and discontinued product listings.

Reporting, Analysis & Strategy

  • KPI & Dashboards: Develop and implement standard reporting, KPIs, and dashboards to support business decisions for retail growth.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in transformation projects, such as the implementation of new DRP (Distribution Requirements Planning) systems.
  • Strategic Thinking: Re-evaluate the relevance of management processes for specific categories like amenities or travel sprays.
  • Cross-functional Teamwork: Work with Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams to identify Open-to-Buy (OTB) opportunities and reduce risk.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Operations, in Forecasting is a plus

  • Technical

Skills

SAP, Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, Forecasting Tool

  • Soft Skills:

Strong analytical, proactive, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with transversal teams and senior management
  • Strong expertise and proficiency in Excel, with the ability to analyze data and generate reports.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to drive results.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule based on business and event needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
