Duties

• Perform professional hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, updos, and special occasion styles with precision and flair
• Apply hair color using advanced techniques based on color theory to achieve desired results safely and beautifully
• Install and customize hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and perform hair threading for diverse client needs
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and adhering to health regulations throughout the day
• Provide expert consultations on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales to enhance client satisfaction
• Mentor junior team members in hair styling techniques, customer service excellence, and salon operations

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of hair styling, coloring, and advanced techniques like straight razor shaves and makeup application
• Proficiency in salon software systems such as MINDBODY for efficient appointment booking and client records management
• Strong understanding of color theory to create personalized looks that complement each client’s features
• Experience with retail sales strategies including upselling products like nail care items, hair tools, and cosmetics
• Excellent communication skills to connect with clients, understand their vision, and deliver tailored services
• Ability to manage store operations including front desk responsibilities and store management tasks
• Skilled in sanitation practices ensuring a safe environment for clients and staff at all times
