We’re seeking a skilled and creative Makeup Artist to join our team on an on-call or part-time basis. This role is perfect for an artist who enjoys working across different styles — from fresh, natural looks to full glam and event-ready makeup — using a variety of professional brands and products to meet each client’s needs.

Pay starts at $17.50 + 10% commission on all sales/services provided.

Responsibilities

Provide professional makeup services for clients from everyday natural looks to glamorous event looks
Work confidently with different brands and product lines, tailoring choices to skin type, tone, and lighting conditions
Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and production teams to achieve cohesive visual results for social, events, and client needs
Maintain a clean and organized kit, ensuring hygiene and product care at all times
Keep current with evolving beauty trends, products, and techniques
Attend to clients in a warm, inclusive, and professional manner, delivering exceptional service

Qualifications

Proven experience as a makeup artist (portfolio required) with at least 2 years of experience at a salon, commercial or mobile glam company setting
Strong understanding of makeup products, brands, and formulations across various skin tones
Expertise in both natural and full glam/event looks
Excellent communication and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to different environments
Must provide own professional makeup kit and brushes
Certification or formal training in makeup artistry (preferred but not required)
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends and special events
A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
