The Role

The Junior Digital Designer supports the Creative, Social and Ecommerce teams in executing social-first, performance-oriented creative across digital channels. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate with a strong design foundation and an interest in expanding skills across graphic design, photography, video, editing and modern AI-enabled tools.

You will work closely with senior designers and cross-functional partners to assist in the creation, adaptation and optimization of creative assets, gaining hands-on experience in how creative drives engagement and growth in a high-performing beauty brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and production of digital assets for social media, email/CRM, Ecommerce and promotional campaigns.
  • Support the creation and editing of social-first content, including static graphics, basic photo retouching and short-form video edits.
  • Help adapt creative into multiple formats and variations for different platforms and performance testing.
  • Participate in content creation workflows, including concept development, asset preparation and final delivery.
  • Assist with organizing and preparing assets for organic and paid social campaigns.
  • Learn and apply Pixi’s brand guidelines across all creative output.
  • Support photo and video shoots, including setup, asset selection and post-production assistance.
  • Leverage AI-powered creative tools to support ideation, editing and asset creation under guidance.
  • Monitor social trends, emerging platforms and creator-style content, bringing ideas and inspiration to the team.
  • Perform additional design and creative support tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media or a related field.
  • Foundational design skills with coursework or internship experience across digital design.
  • Portfolio or project samples demonstrating design fundamentals and creative potential (student work accepted).
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator; Premiere Pro or After Effects a plus) and CapCut video editor or similar tool.
  • Interest in photography, video, motion, or social content creation; hands-on experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
  • Curiosity and openness to modern creative tools, including AI-assisted design and editing tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and willingness to receive feedback.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
