As an experienced Hair Braider, you will be responsible for providing top-notch hair braiding services to our diverse clientele, specializing in the unique hair textures of African-Americans.

• *Key Responsibilities:**

1. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences for braiding styles.

2. Utilize strong fine motor skills to perform intricate and detailed braiding work, including but not limited to cornrows, French braids, box braids of various sizes and lengths, crochet braids, faux locs, goddess braids, Havana twists, marley braids, and Senegalese twists.

3. Demonstrate speed, accuracy, and attention to detail in braiding techniques, ensuring high-quality results.

4. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while working independently or as part of a team.

5. Adhere to salon policies and procedures, including punctuality, cleanliness, and client confidentiality.

6. Actively promote your work and the salon's services on Instagram and other social media platforms to attract new clients and build your clientele.

7. Continuously update your skills and stay informed about current braiding trends and techniques.

8. Hold a valid Illinois hair braiding license and comply with all state regulations.

1. Proven experience as a Hair Braider, with a portfolio showcasing your braiding skills.

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and colleagues effectively.

3. Ability to work with diverse hair textures, particularly African-American hair.

4. Strong fine motor skills and dexterity for intricate braiding work.

5. Self-motivated and driven to build and maintain your client base.
