Licensed Esthetician

Experience Required: 4 years of professional esthetician experience (spa/medical spa environment strongly preferred)

License Requirement: Valid NY State esthetician license

Position Summary: Nova Touch Aesthetics is seeking a dedicated and motivated Esthetician to join our team. You will deliver exceptional facial, waxing and brow services and contribute to building a warm, supportive community for our clients. This role is ideal for someone who is skilled, confident, and passionate about transforming skin and elevating experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-service professional facials (from basic to advanced treatments as trained) tailored to client skin types, concerns and goals.
• Provide waxing services including facial/body (as per regimen) and specialize in eyebrow shaping/tinting.
• Consult with each client: analyze skin/waxing history, recommend appropriate services, homecare and retail products.
• Build strong client relationships: ensure each guest feels welcomed, comfortable and valued; follow up and personalize future visits.
• Meet or exceed retail product sales and service retention objectives by educating clients about homecare and ongoing treatments.
• Maintain clean, organized, sanitary treatment rooms and equipment in accordance with NY State health, safety and spa/clinic regulations.
• Keep detailed treatment notes, client records, and service history as required by the clinic.
• Stay current on industry trends, new treatments, techniques, product knowledge and best practices; participate in training as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the broader team (reception/front desk, manager, injectors, other estheticians) to support a positive, cohesive work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State esthetician license in good standing.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as an esthetician, with demonstrated proficiency in facials, waxing and eyebrow shaping.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and client service skills; ability to make clients feel comfortable, heard and valued.
• Motivated, reliable, detail oriented and self-driven -with the ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Proven ability to sell retail products and suggest appropriate follow-up treatments without being pushy.
• High level of professionalism: excellent grooming, punctuality, positive attitude, and commitment to creating a supportive, inclusive environment.
• Flexibility to work varied schedule including evenings and weekend, depending on spa hours.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain cleanliness, inventory, and treatment standards.

Base Pay: From $30,000.00 per year
