Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and client experience for an assigned beauty brand within the department, combining retail selling with education and service. This role drives personal and counter sales through in-store and digital tools, manages vendor events and maintains a customer-ready counter environment. The manager mentors team members and cultivates long-term customer relationships to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products to customers
  • Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools
  • Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
  • Open new customer rewards accounts to build loyalty
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the department
  • Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
  • Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive customer experience
