Medical Assistant - Cosmetic Dermatology Private Practice

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant with dermatology experience (required) to join our clinical team. This is not an entry-level role, ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in dermatology and familiarity with cosmetic and laser procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses with medical and cosmetic dermatology procedures
• Perform patient intake and document medical history in EHR
• Scribe during patient visits
• Capture pre- and post-procedure photographs
• Maintain efficient patient flow between rooms
• Prepare exam/treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care
• Triage patient calls and support administrative tasks
• Stock and organize clinical supplies
• Assist in training new staff

Required Qualifications: (Please apply only if you meet ALL requirements)

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Minimum 2 years of dermatology experience (medical or cosmetic)
• Experience with cosmetic/laser procedures
• Proficient in EHR systems (Modmed EMA)
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma
• Associate or Bachelor degree is preferred
• BLS Certification

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
