Medical Assistant - Cosmetic Dermatology (1yr exp req)

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms for medical, cosmetic, and surgical procedures
• Perform patient intake and document history/exams in EHR (scribing)
• Take pre- and post-treatment photographs
• Assist with procedures and treatments
• Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care, services, and skincare
• Send prescriptions, labs, biopsies, and test requisitions
• Clean, sterilize, and stock rooms, and maintain/order medical supplies
• Provide excellent patient customer service

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (required)
• Dermatology or aesthetic experience preferred
• EMR/EHR proficiency ( experience in ModMed EMA is a plus)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and team-oriented
• Ability to multitask in a busy clinical setting
• COVID-19 vaccination required

Education & Certifications

• High school diploma required
• Associate’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s a plus
• BLS certification required

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
