Responsibilities

• Deliver expert hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, and special occasion styles that meet clients’ individual needs and preferences
• Perform advanced hair treatments such as extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction
• Apply color treatments with precision, utilizing strong knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations according to salon protocols
• Utilize salon software like SQUARE for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking
• Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to client requests, offering professional advice, and upselling retail products such as hair care and makeup items
• Mentor junior team members on techniques like straight razor shaves, nail care basics, and retail strategies to foster a collaborative environment

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with proven experience in a high-end salon setting
• Demonstrated expertise in hair extensions, coloring techniques, and hair styling with a portfolio of diverse work
• Proficiency with salon management software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and salon safety regulations
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members
• Ability to perform additional services like makeup application and retail math calculations for upselling opportunities
• Experience with front desk duties including appointment booking, client check-in/out, and retail sales management is preferred
