Licensed Esthetician (Skincare Specialist)

More Today Skincare & Wellness Studio is a growing facial studio in Queens focused on results-driven treatments, thoughtful skincare education, and long-term client relationships. We're looking for an esthetician who values high-quality client care and wants to grow within a supportive independent studio environment.

You’ll be joining a growing independent studio with an established clientele and strong opportunity to build and retain a loyal client base over time.

Our service model prioritizes quality over volume. Providers have 30 minutes of protected time between appointments, allowing space for thorough consultations, thoughtful treatment planning, and meaningful client relationships.

The Details

Pay: $18–20/hour base pay (depending on experience) + service commission + product commission + gratuity

Additional earning opportunities: Providers earn $50-$100 bonuses for new membership enrollments, along with performance incentives.

Schedule: Must be available one weekend day and have weekday evening availability.

• Hold a valid New York State Esthetics License
• Have at least 1 year of hands-on facial experience in a professional treatment setting
• Have strong ingredient knowledge and enjoy understanding the "why" behind skincare formulations
• Have excellent communication skills with both clients and team members
• Are detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Are comfortable and confident using booking and checkout technology
• Are genuinely invested in your clients' results and committed to building long-term relationships

Advanced Skills We Love

• Certifications in chemical peels, dermaplaning, or advanced facial massage techniques
• Previous experience with Boulevard Booking/POS software

What You'll Do

Client Care & Services

• Perform customized facials, back treatments, and peel services tailored to each client
• Conduct thoughtful consultations and develop customized treatment plans to guide clients toward long-term skin goals
• Maintain strong client retention, including a new client rebooking rate of 50% or higher
• Maintain strong product and ingredient knowledge to confidently guide treatment and homecare recommendations
• Continue expanding skincare knowledge and treatment expertise

Studio Operations

• Follow treatment protocols and studio service standards
• Maintain detailed client notes to track progress and personalize future visits
• Help maintain clean, organized treatment rooms and shared studio spaces
• Process checkout accurately after each appointment, including retail sales and service charges
• Assist with occasional client communication related to appointments as needed
• Support day-to-day studio operations as part of a collaborative team environment
