More Today is growing, and we’re looking for a skin-obsessed, people-minded esthetician to join our team!

At More Today, we help every client love their skin more today than they did yesterday. We make skincare feel approachable and welcoming, combining customized facial treatments with thoughtful skincare guidance to create a space where clients feel supported and empowered on their skincare journeys.

We’d love to hear from you if you…

• Hold a valid New York State Esthetics License.
• Have at least 1 year of experience performing facials.
• Have strong ingredient knowledge and love understanding the “why” behind a formula.
• Have excellent communication skills with both clients and team members, including clear, proactive communication about any client concerns.
• Are detail-oriented, punctual, and have strong organizational skills.
• Additional certifications in advanced treatments such as chemical peels, dermaplaning, and advanced facial massage techniques a plus.
• Are comfortable with technology and learning new systems quickly.
• Previous experience with Boulevard Booking/POS software a plus.
• Are looking to grow with an independent skincare studio where you can make a meaningful impact and be part of shaping the client experience.

What You'll Do

Client Care & Services

• As an esthetician, you’ll perform customized facials, back treatments, and peels, tailoring treatments and home care to each client
• Create a warm, supportive experience for every client through thoughtful consultations and personalized treatment plans for a diverse clientele
• Stay curious and committed to expanding your skincare knowledge
• Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care to support their skin goals
• Maintain expertise in products and ingredients to confidently speak to their benefits and provide informed recommendations during services
• Make thoughtful homecare recommendations using studio products to support clients’ skin goals
• Maintain an overall new client rebooking rate of 60% or higher, through clear treatment planning and appropriate next-visit recommendations

Studio Operations

• Follow treatment protocols, best practices, and treatment standards
• Keep detailed client notes to track progress and personalize future visits
• Contribute to maintaining clean and organized shared spaces, including front-of-house areas and treatment rooms
• Process client payments and checkout accurately, including retail sales and service charges
• Handle client scheduling and rescheduling requests professionally and accurately
• Flexibility to assist with other day-to-day tasks based on the needs of a small but mighty studio!

The Details

• Pay: $17/hour base pay + service commission + product commission + gratuity
• Earning potential: Up to $35/hour (before gratuity)
• Additional perks: Opportunity for product commission and performance bonuses

Schedule: Must be available one weekend day and have weekday evening availability.
