- * Superstar Full-Time Mohs Surgery/ Surgical and Procedural Dermatology Nurse (RN or LPN - must be licensed and have graduated from an accredited Nursing School) in beautiful near-western suburbs (30 minutes door-to-door commute from Downtown Chicago)!

- The Nurse will work under the direction of the Mohs Surgeon owner and collaborate with other staff to provide the highest quality care to our patients. Serves as direct care for patients in a busy Mohs Surgery, Skin Cancer, Surgical and Cosmetic Dermatology Unit with duties that include: Assessing patients during on-site and phone consultations, assisting Mohs surgeon with procedures, teaching patients about wound care and sun protection, coordinating multidisciplinary treatment plans, triage of calls and messages pertaining to surgical setting, removal of sutures and wound assessment, Photodynamic Therapy (PDT), explanation of lab results and pathology to patients and reconciliation of biopsy logs, compliance with sterile surgical technique and HIPAA guidelines, surgical instrument care and set-up, working in a high energy team atmosphere with strong organizational skills and integrity, assisting in daily patient flow through the unit using forward thinking. - Opportunity for involvement in cosmetics including state-of-the-art Sciton BBL Hero, Clear V, Clear Silk, Halo and Moxi as well as Microneedling, Chemical Peels and assistance with fillers, toxins and ablative lasers including CO2 lasers.
- Must take infection control mitigation strategies seriously and understand the benefit of vaccines, science and their role in health and healthcare.
- Minimum 1-year nursing experience is highly desirable in a dermatology or plastic surgery office. Strong phone and in-person communication skills is a must, as is the ability to efficiently multi-task. Must be a caring, compassionate and a great team player with initiative.
- As the office is iPad and Mac based, using Modernizing Medicine (EMA) EMR, the qualified candidate should have good computer skills.
