Hair and Makeup Job in Keepsake

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hair & Makeup Artist for Keepsake, a 20–30 minute gothic romantic drama produced as part of a college-level film production course at Oxnard College. This student-managed, faculty-supervised production will film on campus on Thursdays between March 19 and May 7 (4:00–9:00 PM). The film features period-inspired looks and limited special makeup effects for one principal character, with most scenes requiring naturalistic, emotionally grounded makeup suitable for intimate, cinematic close-ups.

This is a great opportunity for a professional, emerging, or advanced student Hair & Makeup Artist who enjoys collaborative, story-driven work and is comfortable working in an educational environment with student crews. While this is a micro-budget academic production, we are seeking someone who approaches their craft with professionalism, patience, and strong communication skills. Credit, meals on shoot days, and portfolio/reel material will be provided.
