Weekend Hair Stylist

Masa.Kanai is a Japanese salon located in the upscale and friendly neighborhood of the Upper West Side!

We are looking for an experienced stylist to join on the weekends. Ideal schedule would be Fridays, Saturdays, and/or Sundays, but once or twice a week can also be possible if it is a good match.

At Masa.Kanai, we guarantee you the opportunity to expand your career. Whether you already have your own personal following or not, our salon sees high demand for bookings, and you will definitely be able to build your own clientele list with us.

As a new stylist with us, you will be given a promotional period where all new clients and return-no-request clients will be prioritized with you. With barber's cuts averaging $90 and standard cuts averaging $165, there is a lot of potential to stay busy and make great profit. The compensation will be commission-based, and then any tips you get from guests, you get to keep.

Please note that before we can have you work on the floor at our salon, you will be required to attend training to become familiar with our signature hair cutting process that utilizes several exclusive specialty cutting shears. You can expect a minimum of 5x 1hr training courses.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,500.00 per week
