About the position

Madison Reed is accepting applications for various positions including Assistant Colorist, Colorist, Shift Lead, and General Manager in the Chicago Area. The company is looking for licensed cosmetologists who are passionate about the beauty industry and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Stand and walk for four plus consecutive hours.
• Bend and twist at the waist regularly.
• Manipulate fingers and hands, bend and reach wrists and arms.
• Communicate regularly with guests via ongoing conversations and consultations.

Requirements

• Active cosmetology license in the state of application.
• Entry level experience in customer service or retail sales environment; salon or beauty industry experience preferred.
• Effective communication, strong problem solving and people skills.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.
