Duties

• Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist at the front desk with check-in and appointment scheduling using salon software like MINDBODY
• Support stylists with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, hair threading, and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction
• Maintain salon cleanliness and sanitation standards, including tools sterilization and workspace organization
• Assist with retail sales by recommending hair care products, nail care items, and retail math calculations to maximize revenue through upselling techniques
• Manage inventory levels for salon supplies and assist with store management tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
• Support hairstyling and barbering services by preparing clients and assisting during treatments such as color theory consultations or straight razor shaves
• Mentor new team members on salon procedures, customer service excellence, and technical skills like hair styling or nail care

Requirements

• Passion for beauty services including cosmetology, barbering, hair styling, nail care, and makeup application
• Basic knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management
• Familiarity with sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
• Ability to perform retail sales with confidence through upselling techniques
• Experience or interest in hair extensions, eyelash extensions, hair threading, or color theory is a plus
• Willingness to learn new skills such as the use of straight razors or advanced styling techniques
• Excellent organizational skills for front desk duties and store management responsibilities
